Holy Cow! CowParade is coming to Ireland 2003, sponsored by Bailey's.
The artistic cows are coming to graze in charming Dublin City locations. Hundreds of artists, professional and amateur, from throughout Ireland will be painting and decorating life-sized cows in preparation for CowParade Ireland with the title sponsorship of Baileys, Baileys CowParade Ireland will see Dublin serve as an urban pasture to the herds of painted, costumed, festooned and creatively transformed cows that will be on display on streets, parks and landmarks starting in June 2003.

Sponsored by Baileys, CowParade Ireland promises to be one of the biggest and most exciting events to take place in 2003.
The exhibition will aim to embrace the spirit of Ireland's natural and cultural history whilst raising substantial funds for charity, and hopes to attract tourists and Irish residents alike to explore the uniquely inspired and painted cows to be displayed around Dublin city.
General Information
Managed by Redstar, a leading Irish events company, Bailey's CowParade 2003 ha already received considerable interest from Irish business and creative communities.
Between 100 and 150 cows will be placed on the streets of Dublin from June to September 2003. At the end of September the cows will be rounded-up and auctioned. 75% of the profits will go to two charities: The Dublin SImon Community and The Jack and Jill Trust.
A massive advertising, public relations and marketing campaign will support Bailey's CowParade Ireland 2003, including promotions via the internet, schools and mobile phone text alerts. Download a General Information Document. (requires Abobe's Acrobat Reader)
Sponsor a Cow
Each cow, or herd of cows, has a sponsor or patron. Corporations, community groups, individual merchants and private citizens can sponsor cows beginning at 8,500 Euros each. Sponsors will enjoy a range of benefits, but most importantly Ireland's business and community leaders can show support for Baileys CowParade Ireland and play a major part in the event's success. The cows come in three poses: standing, grazing and reclining and weigh approximately 100 pounds each. When installed in their exhibit locations, the cows will be attached to a 500 pound concrete base so as not to "walk away". Download a Sponsorship Opportunity Document. Attention Artists!
Baileys CowParade Ireland is ccepting proposals from artists who wish to participate in this public art event. Previous designs have been whimsical and creative, from Picowsso to Moona Lisa to Cow-A-Bunga! Artists' submissions are reviewed to ensure they meet the basic guidelines of CowParade Ireland. Upon approval, designs will be offered to sponsors for their review. Sponsors select the designs they would like to have transformed into public bovine art.
