To immortalize CowParade San Antonio, CowParade has published a full-color book showcasing these bovine beauties. 100 full color pictures show off the creatively color coated cows which adorned the sidewalks, parks, and streetcorners of San Antonio this past year.The official CowParade San Antonio event book is in stores today. Raise Your Paddle for Cattle.
You’ve seen the Cows all over San Antonio, now buy one for your home, office or garden! Forty or more of these 'udderly' unique works of art will be sold at a live auction conducted by Christie's on May 21, 2003 at the Adam's Mark Hotel. Tickets for this one-of-a-kind event are $100. Please call 210-595-0251 or email us if you would like an invitation or for more information about either the live or Internet auction.
The Live auction will be followed by an Internet auction of the remaining cows. We will designate on this website where each cow will be sold in the coming weeks.
Previewing the Auction Cows.
The Cows will continue to graze through early April. In mid-April, most of the Live auction cows will be rounded up and brought to the Cow Hospital and Moooseum at 313 E. Houston Street in Downtown San Antonio, where you will be able to inspect your favorite cows. Stay tuned for more information about the preview period.
Visit the Cow Hospital. The Cow Hospital, where our beloved bovines receive medical attention, is located at 313 E. Houston St. in Dowtown San Antonio and is open to the public Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9-5 and Sundays from 1-4.
About CowParade
CowParade San Antonio officially began January 17, 2003 with the full roll out of 'the Cows'. The Cows will graze the downtown area and other San Antonio locations such as the Alamo Quarry Market. Click here to see a printable list of the cows presently on display. This list will be updated shortly to include all of the cows.
