CowParade at ART-MOSCOW
CowParade Moscow 2005 and WAM Gallery staged a joint event “Adopt a Cow to Help Children” in the framework of annual International art-fair Art-Moscow, on May 24 – 19, 2005..
The first white fiberglass cows were painted in public by Russian most famous contemporary artists who found the idea of helping children appealing: Andrey Bartenev, Alexander Vinogradov, Vladimir Dubossarsky, Elena Elagina, Konstantin Zvezdochetov, Georgy Litichevsky, Igor Makarevich, Andrey Makarevich, Vlad Mamyshev-Monroe, Anastassya Nemolyaeva, Boris Orlov, Leonid Tishkov, Alexander Shaburov, Sergey Shutov, Andrei Belle.
The artists really enjoyed painting our cows. They came out all depicting the original styles and techniques of the authors.

Kids also enjoyed the opportunity to paint their cows on templates on the lawn surrounded by our bovines. Aeroflot, the Russian major airlines, had announced a contest for the best drawing among children.

At the reception where the artists presented their work we opened champagne – what a great moment to celebrate: art, charity and festivity together!
